Missouri Girls Town Foundation, Inc. provides residential behavioral health care for adolescent girls between the ages of eight and 21 who are in need of a therapeutic and structured living environment to address emotional and behavioral disorders.  Missouri Girls Town is licensed within the State of Missouri guidelines and is accredited by the Council on Accreditation to provide residential services for Care Levels II, III and IV.  In addition, Girls Town provides accredited and licensed Day, Transitional Living, Structured and Unstructured Independent Living Services.

Client referrals are accepted from:

  • Dept. of Social Services: Children’s Division
  • Dept. of Social Services: Adoption Subsidy
  • Dept. of Mental Health
  • Division of Youth Services
  • Juvenile Offices/Courts
  • Contracted State Agencies
  • Private Placement

Upon application, the Admissions Coordinator, Program/Clinical Director, Counselors, Lead Youth Specialist, and Campus Nurse will review the referral packet. Acceptance to Missouri Girls Town will be based on: the services provided by Missouri Girls Town, available openings, information provided by the Legal Guardian/referral source, compatibility with the program.

Missouri Girls Town will notify the referral source by phone within forty-eight hours of receiving the referral if the client is qualified for the program. Pre-placement visits will be offered to qualifying clients, family and Legal Guardian. Upon acceptance, an admission date and time will be scheduled.
