You Can Help.
The cost of complete care is about $315 a day per child. The state of Missouri normally provides a fee for every child placed at Missouri Girls Town. However, that amount is just over half of the total cost of care. The remaining half of our annual budget must come from supporters like you! Please donate today and help change a life!
Donate Physical Items
Missouri Girls Town is in need of new unused items such as sheets, towels, blankets, kitchen supplies, bathroom toiletries (such as soap, shampoo, hair care products, etc.), and much, much more. You can drop items off, or we can arrange to have someone pick them up.

Tax Credits
Each year Missouri Girls Town is allocated a limited amount of tax credits. This is in addition to the normal federal and state tax deduction. Tax credits are currently available for individuals and business that give over $500 through a business that pays Missouri taxes. Gifts can be made via check, credit card or stock. If you are interest in taking advantage of the Neighborhood Assistance Program (NAP) Tax Credit to support our programming, please contact Deanna (Barger) Vander Weerd at (573)642-5345.
After making a donation to our NAP project, you can expect to receive an acknowledgment letter and a form. Once this form is completed, you will need to have it notarized and mailed back to Missouri Girls Town (PO Box 59, Kingdom City, MO 65262). From here, we will submit the documentation to the State of Missouri and you will hear back from us usually within 30 days of our submission to the State. Let’s talk about how you can receive a 70% Missouri Tax Credit by supporting Missouri’s at-risk youth.
Donate Highly Appreciated Property
If you donate stocks held for more than 12 months to Girls Town, you can avoid capital gains tax and receive an income tax deduction for the full value of the stock when the gift is made. Stocks, bonds, real estate, vehicles, and many more items are excellent for this kind of donation.
Donate via Estate Plans
One of the easiest ways to help is to make a bequest in your will or living trust to Missouri Girls Town. Bequests can be made in the form of a specific dollar amount, a percentage of the overall estate, the residue of the estate after everything else has been paid, or a portion of the residue.
