Donors are absolutely essential to the operations of our organization. Their financial contributions ensure the stability and sustainability of programs while enabling us to adapt our programming to fit the individualized needs of the youth we serve. Fundraising events and celebrations of milestones build engagement in our community which change mind-sets about trauma-affected youth. Further, our donors and diverse network of supporters help us leverage additional funding opportunities including a federal HUD grant which will allow us to complete deferred maintenance and make safety focused upgrades.

In essence, donors provide the foundational support that allows Missouri Girls Town to thrive and effectively address the evolving needs of young people. Like our dedicated individual donors, charitable foundations such as the Veterans United Foundation, the Herman T. and Phenie R. Pott Foundation, and the Kathryn McQuade Foundation allocate funds which allow us to stop the cycle of abuse with each youth client treated at our facility. This creates generational change for the future families that our youth might have one day. As we continue to strive for a brighter future for these youngsters, donors remain a crucial cornerstone in the actualization of our vision, “A community where mental health is embraced and exceptional treatment is accessible to all.”
